Dance as Moving Meditation Class
I'm currently enrolled a class that is called Dance as Moving Meditation lead by Ashley Bruni. We went to the room to just express our feelings with the movement of our bodies, no homework, no reading - just moving.
The teacher wasn't able to come one day so she allowed me to take that day and have my (parenthesis) for the students enrolled. I experimented with the lighting and the scent of the room. I gave essential oils to the participants during the warm-up and suggested them to do a self-massage. Their responses were very effective! They told me that it was really helpful to somewhat remove the sense of sight during the workshop as well as activating other senses (as smell) helped them to be more present in their bodies.
